YOUR RODEO-WEEK GUIDE

The essentials

The competition spans bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing and bull riding.
Team roping pairs a header with a heeler; each role contributes to the team’s run.
A contestant’s season standings, individual round result and overall NFR average describe different parts of their performance.
